Ingredients and Tools for Making Easter Bark Recipe
Get ready to add some color and fun to your Easter celebration with this delicious and easy-to-make Easter Bark with pretzels recipe!
Here's a breakdown of the ingredients and what they bring to the table:
- White Candy Melts: These smooth and creamy candy melts create a sweet and creamy base for the bark, serving as the perfect canvas for all the other delicious ingredients.
- Mini Chocolate Eggs: With their candy-coated shells, Butter Snaps pretzels add color and texture to the bark, creating a sweet and crunchy contrast to the white chocolate.
- Pretzels: The salty crunch of Butter Snaps pretzels balances out the sweetness of the white chocolate and candy-coated eggs, adding a subtle buttery flavor.
- Assorted Cereal: A combination of Kix, Chex, and Cheerios adds a variety of textures to the bark, from a light and crispy crunch to a more substantial one. Cheerios also contribute a slightly sweet flavor and a bit of chewiness.
- Easter M&M's: Pastel-colored Easter M&M's chocolate candies offer sweetness and color to the bark, ensuring every bite is flavorful.
- Pastel-Colored Sprinkles: Pastel colored sprinkles add a fun and festive touch to the bark, contributing a bit of extra sweetness and crunch.
To make this delicious Easter Bark recipe, you'll need the following tools and supplies:
-
- Large baking sheet or quarter baking sheet: This is where you'll spread out the melted candy and cereal mixture to create the bark. A large baking sheet or a quarter baking sheet will provide enough space for you to spread out the mixture evenly.
- Offset spatula: An offset spatula is a handy tool for spreading the mixture evenly and smoothing it out. Its angled blade makes it easier to control and spread the mixture to the edges of the baking sheet.
- Wilton Candy Melts: I recommend using Wilton Candy Melts, which come in various colors and flavors for the candy coating. These candy melts are easy to melt and provide a smooth and creamy texture for the bark.
- Parchment paper: Lining your baking sheet with parchment paper is essential in making this Easter Bark recipe. The parchment paper will prevent the bark from sticking to the baking sheet and make cleanup a breeze.

Tips and Tricks for Making Easy Easter Bark Recipe
To help you make the perfect batch, I've compiled some tips and tricks to keep in mind while making this delicious candy.
- Make sure that when melting your candy melts in the microwave oven that they don't get too hot and scorch. A good rule is to reduce your cooking time if you have a high-wattage microwave oven.
- Stir your candy melts after each cooking interval so they don't create hot spots
- If you find your candy melts beginning to harden while making this recipe, simply place in a warm oven or microwave for 10 seconds to soften.
- If you find your candy melts are too thick for drizzling, simply add a bit of vegetable shortening to your candy melt mixture to help make it the perfect consistency for drizzling.
- You may choose to use two-quarter sheets instead of the 1 larger sheet. This allows you to add a variety of tastes and textures with different toppings or colored sprinkles etc. It's great if you have kids helping in the kitchen, that way they can each decorate their own bark. You will need to increase your quantity of white chocolate to 42 ounces.
