Description

This Easter bark recipe has the perfect blend of sweet and salty flavors made with creamy white candy melts, crunchy pretzels, mini chocolate eggs, colorful cereal, and pastel-colored M&M’s, all topped off with a sprinkle of pastel-colored sprinkles. This sweet treat is not only delicious but also the perfect addition to your holiday festivities!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 36 ounces (1020g) white candy melts, divided (I used Wilton bright white candy melts)
  • 7.3-ounce bag (206g) of mini chocolate eggs with candy-coated shell, such as Cadbury Mini Eggs
  • 2 cups pretzels (I used Butter Snaps pretzels)
  • 4 cups assorted cereal (I used a combination of Kix, Chex & Cheerios)
  • 10-ounce bag (283g) of easter m&m’s (or other small pastel-colored chocolate candy)
  • ¼ cup pastel-colored sprinkles

Instructions

  1. Line the bottom of a large 17” baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Coarsely chop mini chocolate eggs into ¼” pieces and set aside.
  3. Combine pretzels and cereal in a large mixing bowl.
  4. Place candy melts in a microwave-safe bowl and heat in short bursts of 15 – 30 seconds until just starting to melt. Let sit and stir until smooth.
  5. Spread ½ cup of the melted candy onto parchment paper. Working quickly, smooth the mixture out to the edges.
  6. Mix 3 ½ cups of the melted candy into the cereal mixture (if the chocolate has hardened, simply reheat for 10 seconds in a microwave oven).
  7. Pour cereal out onto a baking sheet and spread evenly to the edges.
  8. Sprinkle with chopped chocolate eggs, m&m’s, and sprinkles while the melted candy is still warm
  9. Drizzle with remaining ½ cup melted candy.
  10. Wait 15 minutes prior to cutting to let your bark harden.
