Do you love shopping on Etsy? I do. I think I even mentioned in a past post that I'm totally addicted to Etsy. I just love browsing through all the beautiful, hard-to-find products made locally and from all over the world. To me, Etsy is the ultimate place to be for anything gorgeous and handmade!
With that said, here are a few of my most recent finds on Etsy. I'm sure you'll enjoy browsing through these fabulous Etsy designers' shops as much as I do!
*LooseCabooseDesigns - This store features beautiful Amy Butler's fabric handbags and purses, wristlets, and embroidered tees. I've always been in awe of beautiful floral designs in fabric purses, like this Stella in Red and White purse and this Delicious Floral Bag that LooseCabooseDesigns make. I love the blending of retro and modern elements in the designs and styles of their bags. The adorable little pouches can't be ignored as well, like this Echino Pouch, in a pretty olive-colored Japanese fabric with aqua and hot pink mums all around- gorgeous! I'd love to use it as a makeup bag or for personal accessories that I carry in my purse. Are you a dog or cat lover? *Boojiboo - Marisa and Izabelle are behind the stylish, vintage-inspired aprons for women and little girls on Boojiboo. The whimsical designs and cute prints on their full and half aprons bring to mind style, sexiness and cuteness of a bygone 1940's era. The style and the mixing of fun colors in this Chloe Vintage Inspired Full Apron and the very feminine sweetheart neckline of this Bella Vintage Inspired Full Apron look to me like they're adorable little dresses than kitchen aprons. If you prefer wearing a half style apron instead of a full one, Boojiboo has got those too! Now you can really look in style- even in the kitchen- with these chic, lovely aprons from Boojiboo. *TenDigitCreations - A unique shop on Etsy that sells and makes richly-scented candles and beautiful handmade bead jewelry, TenDigitCreations is definitely a must-see. Just take a look at this gorgeous Turqoise and Topaz glass bead necklace with antique fluted beads and this lively pair of green and pink Spring Fling earrings... I love them! And the candles that they carry- richly scented, dye-free, premium soy wax blend containing lead-free wicks. You can even choose from over 100 candle scents- how cool! I am loving the vibrant, fruity scent of Be Delicious candles right now. This is TenDigitCreations' fun interpretation of the new Donna Karan fragrance which is a mouth-watering blend of green apple, grapefruit and white amber. *Paperhill Studio - I have never seen such elegant, vintage-inspired wallpaper photo frames like Paperhill Studio's. Picture your wee one's most treasured photo in this cute wood frame designed with vintage wallpaper featuring a darling litte bunny- how adorable! My other favorites include the Beautiful Brown Damask Frame- again made with elegant brown damask vintage wallpaper and embellised with a brown & ivory striped ribbon & vintage button, and this cute Vintage Wallpaper Pocket Mirror in Sweet Floral- great as a travel mirror that can be easily tucked into your purse or makeup bag. Fashionable and Functional Baby Bags
During my first pregnancy, I splurged on a couple of fashionable and what you might call 'high-end' baby bags. I must had gone through some type of 'gotta-have-that-cute-baby bag' phase. Just because.. it wasn't enough that I had a full-sized, fairly nice Eddie Bauer diaper bag that a girlfriend gave me on my baby shower, or the cute cream-colored one my husband bought me from Babies R' Us. At that time, I wanted a baby bag that's more fashionable, and yet functional enough that can hold all my baby necessities.
So I went online and did a little reading on top choice diaper bags with great reviews. Then stumbled upon the Fleurville brand. Believe it or not, I bought not one, but two styles- the Mothership and the Sling (Mini) Tote, both in Blue Ogo (both pictured here), just because I thought they were both stylish and functional.
The neatest thing about the Fleurville baby bags is that they are covered in polyurethane laminate "Green-LAM" technology which is known to be more environmentally friendly than PVC that most other diaper bag brands use. This type of laminate makes your Fleurville diaper bag repel more moisture and will protect from harmful UV rays, contributing to the overall durability of the bag.
