Ingredients

Scale

2 cups mini pretzels, square, twists or both

4 blocks white almond bark, divided

Holiday sprinkles

6 cups rice or corn chex cereal

1 cup holiday chocolate candy

2 cups popcorn 

1 cup peppermint coated pretzels, optional

Santa Hats

1 package (2.33 oz) muddy bites waffle cone snacks or bugle snacks **see notes

½ cup red candy melts

Mallow-bites or tiny marshmallows

White sprinkles, optional


Instructions

Chocolate Pretzels

  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper
  2. Lay out pretzels in a single layer 
  3. Melt 1 block of almond bark in a small microwave safe bowl for 1 minute, stir and continue heating for 10-20 seconds at a time until the chocolate is almost melted, stirring after each heating. 
  4. Remove from the microwave and stir until completely smooth
  5. Transfer chocolate to a disposable piping bag or use a spoon 
  6. Drizzle pretzels with melted chocolate and immediately add sprinkles 
  7. Set aside for at least 15 minutes or until chocolate has hardened

Santa Hats

  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper
  2. Melt red candy melts in microwave using the instructions above
  3. Dip the cones into the melted red chocolate and place on prepared baking sheet to dry, about 15 minutes
  4. If you would like to add the white sprinkles, dip the end slightly into the melted chocolate and then into the sprinkles
  5. Add a tiny marshmallow on top with a very small amount of melted chocolate
  6. Allow to dry before adding to the snack mix

Snack Mix

  1. Add cereal, popcorn and pretzels to a large bowl and mix
  2. Spread evenly onto a large baking sheet
  3. Top with Santa hats, peppermint pretzels and candy of your choice
  4. Stir to combine
  5. Store in airtight container 

Notes

Alternately, you can use Bugle snacks or cut the tip off of a sugar ice cream cone if you can’t find the Muddy Bites Waffle Cone Snacks.
