1. Keep the Decor Simple: Trust me, you won’t want to clean it all up in the morning! I often find great party decor at my favorite party store and I like to get game day plates, napkins, and cups. I also coordinate the colors of my decor to our favorite team.

2. Prep Food Ahead of Time: Avoid last-minute rushes by preparing snacks and dishes in advance. Finger foods, dips, and cold appetizers can be made a day before and refrigerated.

3. Set Up a DIY Drink Station: Create a self-serve drink station with a variety of beverages. This way, guests can help themselves, and you won’t be stuck playing bartender all day.

4. Arrange Comfortable Seating: Ensure there’s ample and comfortable seating in your viewing area. Use pillows and extra chairs so everyone has a good view of the TV.

5. Offer a Variety of Snacks: Not everyone may love your favorite spicy wings. Offer a range of snacks to cater to different tastes and dietary preferences.

6. Create a Game Day Playlist: Set the mood with a lively playlist. Play it before the game starts and during breaks to keep the energy up.

7. Plan Interactive Games: During halftime, engage your guests with fun games or a mini football toss tournament. It’s a great way to keep everyone entertained.

8. Keep Extra Supplies Handy: Stock up on extra napkins, plates, and utensils. Running out mid-party is a hassle you don’t need.

9. Designate a Space for Kids: If kids are part of your party, set up a separate area with games and snacks for them. It keeps them entertained and gives adults more space to enjoy the game.

10. Have a Wi-Fi Password Sign: If you’re expecting new guests, have your Wi-Fi password displayed in a common area. It’s a small touch that’s always appreciated.

Bacon, cheddar cheese, feta cheese, ranch flavor, green onions and crunchy pecans come together to make this the BEST EVER cheese ball. It goes perfectly for game day or any casual party!

2 packages cream cheese (8 oz. each), softened

5 slices of bacon

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

¼ cup crumbled feta cheese

1 oz  package of ranch seasoning mix

1 tsp  Worcestershire sauce

4 tbsp fresh chopped parsley

1 tbsp  fresh chopped chives

1 tbsp  fresh chopped green onions

¼ cup chopped pecans

  1. Begin by cooking the bacon until it is nice and crispy over medium-high heat in a skillet. Set the cooked bacon on a paper towel lined plate to drain.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, cheddar cheese, feta cheese, worcestershire sauce, Ranch seasoning, chopped chives, chopped green onions, 2tbsp of the chopped parsley, and ½ of the cooked bacon crumbled. Beat the mixture on high until well combined and creamy.
  3. In a separate small mixing bowl, combine the other two tbsp of chopped parsley, the rest of the crumbled cooked bacon, and the chopped pecans. Stir to combine well, and set aside covered until ready to use.
  4. Place the cheese mixture into the fridge for 2-3 hours to set.
  5. Once set, form the cheese mixture into a ball, and roll it in the nut/bacon mixture until the entire outside of the cheese ball is coated.
  6. Serve on a plate with plenty of options for dipping, including pita chips, carrot sticks, pepper strips and sliced cucumbers.
