On July 4, the National Building Museum’s the BIG Maze will be opening to the public in addition to its annual Summer Block Party. Visitors will be able to explore all the twists and turns without getting lost in this never-before-seen interactive installation.
Designed by BIG-Bjarke Ingels Group and constructed in collaboration with local construction companies, the glossy, maple plywood maze will measure a towering 18 feet high and an expansive 60 feet square. The BIG Maze will be open through September 1, 2014.

Sunday: 11 am–5 pm
National Building Museum members will have early access to the BIG Maze on Fridays and Saturdays from 9–10 am.
The Museum will also be open for several late nights to give visitors the opportunity to go through the maze and visit exhibitions after-hours. Hill Country’s Backyard Barbecue will be open on the Museum’s west lawn. Hours are 5–9 pm on the following dates:

TICKETS Tickets for the BIG Maze will only be available in person, on a first-come, first-served basis. Sales will end at 4 pm on weekdays and 3 pm on weekends and holidays. Ticket prices for Museum Members: Adults $10; Students, Youth ages 3-17 and Seniors ages 60 and over $5. Non-members: Adults $16; Students, Youth ages 3-17 and Seniors ages 60 and over $13.
