July 4th Ice Pops

  • Author: Jocelyn Brown

Description

With three fun, colorful layers of red, white and blue, these ice pops make a perfect 4th of July snack!

Ingredients

Scale

For the Strawberry Layer:

  • 5 to 6 strawberries
  • 1 tbsp honey

For the Banana Layer:

  • 1/2 banana
  • 1/3 cup milk

For the Blueberry Layer:

  • 1/2 cup blueberries
  • honey, as needed

Instructions

  1. Blend each layer in a food processor or blender separately.
  2. Pour the first layer into the popsicle mold and stick in into the freezer for at least 20 minutes or until mostly solid.
  3. If you’re adding a popsicle stick, stick it the same time you’re adding the second layer. Freeze for another 20 minutes or so, before adding the third layer.
  4. Enjoy your ice pops!

Notes

For this recipe, I used the banana layer as the second layer. Since it’s thick, it helps hold the stick up.
