February is one of my favorite months of the year. Yes, I know it's winter, but when February comes around, I get so excited for the festivities and love of Valentine's Day! Not only do I love Valentine's Day, but I really love flowers. If you've been following me on Instagram, you know how much I love flowers. I have to have flowers. Always. 🙂
The love and devotion that we show each other this time of year bring me joy. So, with these thoughts, I'm thrilled to share some of my favorite quotes about flowers because Valentine's Day truly reigns as the top time of the year when flowers are so much more appreciated. Don't you agree?

Giving flowers surely does brighten up the receiver's day! I know my mom (and bestest friend in the whole wide world) absolutely loves it when I send her some. I sure would love to surprise her with a beautiful arrangement. My mom really loves orchids so I think I would choose Teleflora's Island Princess.

A lot of the flower quotes are kind of sad when you think about it, talking about the fleetingness of flowers. My favorite bouquet is the Full of Love Bouquet. I love how soft it is and how all the flowers kind of blend into one beautiful piece. Just an overall nice arrangement

My favorite quote is “Let us dance in the sun, wearing wild flowers in our hair.” by Susan Polis Schutz. My favorite bouquet is the Swirling Desire Bouquet because it has a nice variety of several flowers that I love, including red roses, hot pink oriental lilies, red gerberas, and red carnations.
I haven't heard those quotes before but they're beautiful, and so are the variety of Valentine’s Day flowers from Teleflora.
I actually liked all the flower quotes and like even more flower quotes that weren't on the list. But of the ones on the list, I like
“Butterflies are self-propelled flowers.” -Robert A. Heinlein because I love visual imagery like that and because I have thought of butterflies that way before, but didn't know of the quote.
As for the Valentine bouquets on Teleflora.com. Choosing my favorite was VERY difficult because they are all beautiful but also because my favorite varied, depending on who I was thinking of it FOR. If it was for myself it would be different than if I chose it for my mom and that would be different than if I chose it for various other loved ones.
I decided to choose the one that I am leaning toward getting IF I am so lucky as to win the giveaway. I decided I would most likely give it to our oldest daughter, who has been through a lot this past year or so. She has always loved cactus and succulents so I would choose Teleflora's DESERT SUNRISE BOUQUET. She had recently shared with close family and friends that she's sad that even though she is exceptionally kind and loving to everyone that it seems too many people in the world are "less nurturing than a desert". Were the words she used. So that statement along with her love of succulents and unique flowers makes me love that bouquet the best for her. If I won, I would give her that along with a loving card and find and write an inspirational loving quote to do with the desert and growth and Keep shining her brilliant beautiful light even if it feels everything around her is withered and dried.
I chose that bouquet because it's NOT just beautiful flowers. In this case, it is deeply symbolic and sentimental, encouraging and meaningful.
