Thanks to Pancho’s Queso Dip, our snacking and family cookouts are more delicious and exciting! This post is sponsored by Pancho’s Dip. All views and text are my own.
The weather is getting warmer, the days are getting longer and many of us are growing tired of being inside our homes day after day. Luckily, your backyard is always open! Summer barbecues do not have to come to a halt and there are many safe, fun ways to have a family cookout centered around delicious foods. While burgers, hot dogs and s’mores are on almost every barbecue menu, the newest addition to our family’s outdoor meals is our favorite queso dips from Pancho’s.
To tell you a little a bit about Pancho’s dip…
Pancho’s queso dip has been around since 1956 and has an intensely loyal cult following especially around Memphis, TN. I recently discovered Pancho’s cheese dip at my local Giant Food store and besides it being our new favorite snack dip, I have also used it in tons of recipes — from nachos to fish tacos and even mixing some into my eggs in the morning! It’s an all-purpose queso dip for sure.
While my husband and I are huge fans of the Pancho’s Original Queso dip, our kids have grown to love the Pancho’s White Queso. We have had hundreds of debates in our house about which dip is better and we apparently aren’t alone – this is apparently an argument people from Memphis, TN have all the time! No one can pick a favorite as both dips are considered Memphis comfort foods and both are often served as part of party spreads just to please everyone. However, since the dip is now available in select Giant Food stores in DC, Maryland and Virginia, it seems like this will become a nationwide debate as well.
Now, can’t we all just get along and eat Pancho’s queso together? 🙂
As the popularity of the dip continues to explode (the secret is out!), you can look for Pancho’s in your local Giant Food grocery store or use the Pancho’s dip store locator. You really need to try both kind and decide which is the “Best Dip on The Planet”… and I’d still say the Original Queso. 😉
So, after transforming lots of meals in my home from boring to totally awesome, Pancho’s Dip has finally made it outside (just like us!) and is definitely going to be a staple at our family cookouts this summer. It’s amazing on top of my fish tacos recipe, on salads, cheeseburgers and on top of hotdogs which my kids love!
So… give any of the Pancho’s dips a try at your next family barbecue to help make life a little more exciting! Spicy Chipotle, White Queso and Original Queso should all be tried, especially the Original Queso…it’s the best!
