One of the things my kids and I enjoy doing together around the Christmas holidays is creating simple Christmas-themed crafts. My boys had a blast making crafts last year and this year, we are going to try to make some fun, new ones.
I’ve rounded up 10 super fun, easy Christmas-themed crafts you can make with your kids this weekend (or this entire holiday season!). Get inspired to craft with your kids along with me and let’s all gather in the craft room! For the how to’s, just click the link for each project located just under the image.
Snowflakes from buttons and Popsicle sticks/ Felt birds with sparkly sequins– these are on top of my “craft with my kids” list! 🙂
Hand drawn Christmas Handkerchiefs – super easy kid’s project with just a little help from mom or dad!
Handprint Santa Christmas Card – my boys had tons of fun making these last year! I took this photo of my boys’ own projects, which they both gave to each of their teachers. So proud of both of them! 🙂
Winter Wonderland Ornament – so delightful! Great project to go with a Winter Wonderland book or story! Look for story ideas at your local library appropriate for your child’s age and reading level
Santa Jelly Bean Bowl – this kids’ craft spells c-u-t-e … and sweet.. and fuzzy 🙂
Candy Cane Ornaments – fast and easy project.. later, your kids will have fun decorating the tree with these!
Elf Shoes Ornament – how adorable! You could pair this project up with an elf-related movie to watch or story to read with your kids!
Looking for a cute gift idea for the teachers on your gift list? Make A Santa Cookie Mix In A Jar with your kids like this one… so festive! And great idea for bonding with your kids in the kitchen! 😉
Pom-Pom Christmas Tree – get pom-poms of different sizes and colors and just let your kids have fun decorating the tree-shaped form made out of glued popsicles!
Candy Cane Reindeer – gather up a few plastic candy canes, yarn, googly eyes, pom-pom for nose and tiny bells to make this super fun project!
Enjoy crafting with your kids! 🙂
