These strawberry daiquiris taste amazing and are the perfect drink for the holiday!

FROZEN STRAWBERRY DAIQUIRI

frozen strawberry daiquiri recipe

I know what you might be thinking- a cold frozen strawberry daiquiri in the winter? Absolutely!  Strawberry daiquiris are not just reserved for hot summer days. They are just as delicious and just as exciting when enjoyed in February. In fact, they are the perfect way to bring a little bit of warm weather joy to this chilly time of year.  Let me tell ‘ya, the color of these yummy cocktail drinks alone will cheer you up! Of course, the pink and red colors of the strawberry daiquiri fit right into the Valentine ’s Day theme.. how perfect is that???

HOW TO MAKE FROZEN STRAWBERRY DAIQUIRIS

If you have never made a strawberry daiquiri, I’m here to tell you that it’s so easy! You can make a perfect, restaurant worthy daiquiri in just a few steps. One key is to have a good blender on hand. You’ll need one that can crush ice easily. This will help a lot in making a nice, smooth frozen daiquiri.

how to make frozen strawberry daiquiris

Other than a powerful blender, you will need just 4 ingredients to make your Valentine’s Day Frozen Strawberry Daiquiri: frozen limeade, rum, fresh strawberries and some ice. Be sure the strawberries are washed and the stems are removed. Then, place everything into your blender and puree until smooth. Add a little more ice if you would like a thicker daiquiri or add a splash of water to thin it out.

I like to save a few strawberries to use as a garnish. Fresh lime slices also make for a pretty garnish and the bright green color looks very pretty next to the bright red drink. You can even go even more over the top and cut your strawberries into heart shapes. Just use a small heart cookie cutter to make the strawberry hearts. Now your strawberry daiquiris are definitely going to be Valentine’s Day ready!

Can you make non-alcoholic Frozen Strawberry Daiquiris?

You absolutely can! If you are looking for a non-alcoholic Valentine’s Day drink, simply omit the rum in this recipe. Add a little water if needed to make the daiquiri thinner, or simply substitute the rum for apple juice. This is a great way to give your kids a special Valentine’s Day drink and make them feel included. Non-alcoholic strawberry daiquiris are just as delicious!

I hope you try my strawberry daiquiri recipe this Valentine’s day and bring a little bit of that summertime goodness into February. These pretty, red drinks will taste great, look gorgeous and they can be perfect for the whole family (just skip that rum for the kids and it will have a slushie texture like my Strawberry Slushie recipe).

So.. add my easy Frozen Strawberry Daiquiri recipe to your Valentine’s Day menu and then let me know what you think.

Happy Valentine’s Day, everyone! 🙂

With the lockdown, I am unable to visit a bar. And or I am too uncomfortable socializing thus I started learning making my own cocktails. I am definitely adding this to my list of concoctions.
