7 Tips for Looking and Feeling Your Best

From the early morning when you hear your alarm clock to the time you go to bed, looking your best might be something you strive for the entire day. The thing is, it’s an investment that will also have you feeling great. So, from regularly brushing your teeth and visiting a dentist, to maintaining your hair with a hair mask, shampoo and conditioner, here are a few tips to help you accomplish that goal.

Cleanse Your System

The quickest way to improve your overall health and well-being is to cut out bad habits. This includes everything from eating junk food to substance abuse. The more extreme the bad habit is, the harder it may be to fix by yourself. For example, if you have a substance abuse problem, you should seek assistance from an inpatient alcohol rehab to cleanse your system and guide you to the path of recovery.

Whiten That Smile

We all know the importance of a great smile. Make yours even better with teeth whitening. Nothing makes you look older than you are than stained teeth. You can make your smile brighter by using a tooth polish meant for whitening. If this doesn’t work, get in touch with your dentist and ask about bleaching them. Additionally, lip color that’s terracotta, brownish mauve, or flesh-colored will make teeth appear to be whiter. Many people say that the first thing they notice about someone is their smile, so make yours the best it can possibly be.

Refresh Your Hair

You can use this tip once every two weeks. As opposed to rushing your conditioner on and back off your hair, leave it on for as long as 20 minutes. Wrap your hair in a towel while you relax and sit with a cup of your favorite antioxidant tea. Once that time has passed, rinse the conditioner out of your hair and style it like you usually do. Your hair will then feel like silk, and you’ll have hydrated your scalp as well.

Change Your Look

Just because a particular look worked for you 10 years ago, that doesn’t mean it works now. Update how you look – this includes your wardrobe, makeup, and hair, to keep current with the times. Dated looks are dead looks. Aside from that, changing up your appearance can be a natural booster for your mood, and feeling better means you look better.

Have Good Humor

A good mood can be contagious. Say hello and smile to everyone you meet. Make an effort to give sincere compliments to a minimum of three people each day. This will relax your facial muscles while also putting a bit of pep in your step, and compliments can make someone else’s day. Remember how it feels when you get a compliment and give someone else that feeling.

Finally, remember to be confident. Confidence is sassy, sexy, and smart. Learn to allow your confidence to shine, and everyone will believe that you’re younger than you actually are and absolutely gorgeous. Confidently strut your stuff, and you’ll look and feel better at all times.
