What Are Salmon Bites?
Salmon bites are simply salmon fillets cut into bite-sized cubes and cooked until tender and flavorful.
Because the salmon is cut into smaller pieces, you get more surface area for those delicious crispy edges while still keeping the inside moist and flaky. They're perfect for building healthy bowls, adding to salads, or serving alongside vegetables for an easy weeknight dinner.
The air fryer is especially great for salmon bites because it creates a lightly crisp exterior without needing much oil. The result is a healthier alternative to pan-frying while still delivering incredible texture and flavor.

Helpful Tips for Success
Don't Overcrowd the Basket
Arrange the salmon in a single layer so hot air can circulate around each piece.
Pat the Salmon Dry
Removing excess moisture helps create a crispier exterior.
Cut Uniform Pieces
Even-sized cubes cook more consistently and prevent overcooking.
Double the Sauce
The honey soy glaze is delicious drizzled over rice and vegetables, so consider making extra.
Use Fresh Lime Juice
Freshly squeezed lime juice provides a brighter flavor than bottled varieties.
Storage and Reheating
Store leftover salmon bites in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
To reheat, place them back into the air fryer at 350°F for 2 to 3 minutes until warmed through.
These salmon bites are excellent for meal prep and make easy lunches throughout the week.
