Being a virtual assistant is a great way to work at home. You have to have a lot of skills though. I’m sure this course is just what people need to get started.

I think that bookkeeping can really take you a long way – especially as a VA. Bookkeeping used to be so traditional and done at an office but it is a job that can be completed remotely so easily!

As a freelance worker I have to say it’s the best. My only advice is to kind of try and set a schedule because I’m a very lazy person and my problem is that I wake up too late every day, so I feel short on time sometimes. But once you get the hang of it you’re good to go!
Since switching from a regular 9 to 5 and doing freelancing instead, I’m so much happier with my job! I actually specialize in social media management for a few smaller businesses, and run all the marketing for a charity here in Toronto. 🙂 It’s a great job to have!
