Easy Beer Cheese Dip

This easy and quick Beer Cheese Dip is the perfect appetizer for your next get together or party.

flour

garlic powder

onion powder

Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat and whisk in the flour. This mix is called a roux and it is what will thicken the milk & beer.

Slowly add the milk, whisking constantly to blend the roux into the milk evenly - you don’t want any clumps!

Whisk in the beer and then continue to whisk the mix while it heats. It will start to get thicker as it gets hotter.

Add all the spices and cheese to the pot and whisk to melt the cheese completely.
