You know, one of the things I enjoy about being a blogger is that I get to explore new places, experience new things and meet new people. There are times when I get invited to visit a hotel, a new neighborhood, a restaurant, a festive food event, or even a new apartment community.
So last Thursday, I got to explore The Remy Apartments and let me tell you, it's one of the main highlights of my crazy blogger life last week. I enjoyed every minute of it! 🙂
Here's a recap of my visit/tour of The Remy Apartments...
The Clubhouse/Resident Lounge
Upon entering the clubhouse and resident lounge area of The Remy Apartments, I immediately felt the warm, cozy and zen vibe of the whole place. The earthy, modern tones and details in the furniture, fixtures and decor make the place feel inviting! It helps too, that the ladies who show you around the apartments are very friendly and accommodating.
After a long day at work, you could unwind and meet up with some friends at their cozy lounging area. I was told at my visit that they host family-friendly events for you and your family to enjoy here as well...
The indoor entertainment/lounge area also offers a bar area, a game room with a billiard table that looks out to the beautiful outdoor pool and cabana and a movie screening room.
There is also a coffee and seating area with a television viewing area...

The Neighborhood
Located in the new Harkins District in Lanham, Maryland, The Remy Apartments is the freshest transformation in Prince George's County.
The Harkins District is the future spot of exciting retail and restaurants, and with the Orange Line Metro, Amtrak, MARC train, I-95/495 and Greyhound just moments away, you're easily connected to Baltimore, DC and other surrounding cities. Just jump on the train or hop on the highway and go!
The Amenities
Every detail in your new Remy apartment has you in mind, so you can enjoy a private and peaceful experience. During my visit, I got to view a few of their floor plans. I was very impressed by the well-designed fixtures and finishes in each of the floor plans and the amenities are nothing short of amazing!
I got to see one of their studio floor plan and I can tell you, I was surprised at how spacious the floor plan is.
The Remy Apartments offers studio, one bedroom and two bedroom open floor plans with so many extras such as:
- Washer and dryer in every apartment
- Extra sound insulation for a quieter living experience
- Hardwood-inspired flooring
- Individually controlled thermostats
- Double-panel, operable windows
- Recycling/trash chutes on every floor
- Electronic door lock systems
The dining area in each open floor plan at The Remy Apartments offers stylish kitchen detailing, quartz countertops, stainless steel, energy-efficient appliances, designer hardware and flat front cabinetry. You can also choose from two kitchen layout options.
I also got to explore their state-of-the-art fitness facility that includes a Pilates and yoga studio. If you have pets, The Remy Apartments is also a pet-friendly apartment community.

Those are beautiful apartments. I think this is a great alternative to staying in a hotel. Plus, it feels more like being at home.

Looks like a great place to stay. We've been staying at airbnb places the last several vacations we have taken and really enjoyed it. Extra room, kitchens, more beds etc.

The Remy apartments look really high class and extremely well designed. Being able to use the local transit nearby is a big plus. We have stayed at several airbnb in the past and all but one was wonderful. There would be no problem with the Remy.
