National Parks are a perfect place for a family day out. You won’t believe how different but equally beautiful each one is. Some people can’t get enough of the idea of falling asleep under the stars then waking up to some of the best views on Earth. All you need to do is find which park is nearest you and you’ll be able to explore it to your heart’s content.

But don’t worry if you don’t have any camping experience, there are plenty of resources online where you can learn more about the park you want to go to and the best things to do there. If you want to go to the Guadalupe National Park then check out this article on campingfunzone.com that talks in more detail about the things it has to offer. However, if it isn’t your local national park then all it takes is a quick Google search to find more info about ones near you. And what’s better than spending a weekend at your favorite national park? Getting free entrance to them!

Celebrate National Public Lands Day on September 26th with a free entrance to the National Parks! More than 100 national parks that usually charge admission will be offering free entrance fees on this day. Here’s what’s cool: did you know that 268 of the 401 national parks offer free entrance? If you are an active duty military, you and your dependents also qualify for the FREE Annual America the Beautiful National Parks and Federal Recreational Lands Pass.

So, if you don’t have plans to go anywhere next weekend, go #FindYourPark, enjoy and explore it! Additionally, this free national park entrance offer will be available again on November 11, in celebration of Veterans Day!
