Dr. Ian Smith, co-host of The Doctors and creator of Super SHRED: The Big Results Diet, offers great recipes that hit the spot and beat the heat!
Here is a recipe for Classic Blueberry Mango Smoothie – my favorite summer smoothie!
Classic Blueberry Mango Smoothie
Total Time: 5 minutes
You will need:
1 cup frozen or fresh blueberries
1 cup mango chunks
¼ cup vanilla soy milk, almond milk, skim milk, or water
1 cup plain yogurt
¼ cup ice chips, optional
Combine all ingredients in a blender, and puree until smooth. Refrigerate until drink is desired temperature. If you want to drink immediately, simply add ¼ cup ice chips to the ingredients.
