HomeGoods StyleScope: A Fun Home Decorating Style Quiz and a Gift Card Giveaway

I'm feeling truly blessed. Despite all the challenges of single motherhood, I am doing really great. And this year was the first year of my life that I've travelled and have been to so many places. Cozumel, Mexico. Nassau, Bahamas. New York City. Keystone, Colorado (which I won on Mom Central). Yes, all four beautiful places visited in a span of only seven months this year I feel like a true jet-setter. :)

My two boys are doing great too and they're both growing bigger. They're happy and healthy. They're both in school for special programs provided by the state and both of them are really benefiting from those too. Their minds are expanding and they're learning new and fun things everyday.

So I'm counting my blessings. There's so much to be thankful for. :)

Anyway, today I was inspired to read about some articles on home decorating. There's this room in our house I've been wanting to set up as my home office for some time and this weekend, I am finally tackling this exciting home project.


Speaking of home decorating, I recently received a head's up about HomeGoods StyleScope. HG StyleScope is a simple interactive tool created by Deborah Needleman, founding editor of Domino Magazine, that provides a customized style as well as helpful tips to put that style to use.

Wow, this quiz is really helpful. It didn't only provide me with great ideas, tips and tricks for decorating my home, it also showed me my "Happy Home Colors". So now that I know what I need as far as decorating my home office, I'm inspired to check out the HomeGoods store near where I live. I love shopping there!
