Child Aviation Restraint System (CARES)

I recently went on a long plane flight with my two little ones. I knew it was going to be a challenge travelling with a three year old and a 1.5 year old so I made sure I armed myself with all my kids' necessities.

I was also very thankful to have brought our CARES (Child Aviation Restraint System). I can't begin to tell you all how much CARES has made my flight way easier and better with my two little ones. (Yes, I had one for each of them).

When I first planned for this trip, one of my biggest concerns is how I could keep both of them,(especially my three year old boy), stay in their seats since I know airplane seat belts alone won't keep them safe and secure. CARES was the perfect answer to this concern.

Designed specifically for aviation use for children age 1 and older weighing between 22 and 44 pounds, CARES is truly an invaluable travel solution. This is a great tool to have when children are old enough to be in their own seats, but are too small for the seat belt alone to protect them. CARES certainly helped my three year old (who had a seat of hiw own) withstand the jolts during our flight, and we avoided the hassles of having him flail forward or slide beneath the seat belt since he was held securely in place.

CARES was a convenient, hassle-free way to keep my young flyers safe!

Product Features:

-CARES is the first and only harness type Aviation Child Safety Device to be certified by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) as an alternative to a car seat.
-CARES is an elegantly designed belt-and-buckle device that works in conjunction with the regular airplane seat belt and provides young travelers the same level of safety as a car seat.
-CARES weighs just one pound and fits into a 6" stuff sack! It is easily portable, simple to install, adjustable to every size airplane seat, and usable on any seat in the airplane, except in the emergency exit rows.

No need to bring in your heavy car seat in-flight. Just check it through as luggage and carry CARES on board in your pocket!

“The Federal Aviation Administration strongly urges you to secure your child in an appropriate restraint based on weight and size. Turbulence can happen with little or no warning. And when it does, the safest place for your child is in a Certified Restraint System.” -From the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA)

I would loooove to try this out. If I won I would share it with my sister because it looks like we could mail it back and forth to each other before we visit each other. Just thinking about bringing the car seat makes me sweat.

I absolutely love the idea of not lugging around our carseat for my 2year old son. This device also looks much more comfortable for him! I have to get one before our next trip :)

I have a 7, 4, 1 and infant and went on a flight with them all by myself, but I had the cares for my one year old and it saved me from the fights that could have occured. I only rented the one I used and would love to have one of my own.
