Thinking about a short getaway trip but worried about the costs of traveling? How about taking a look at your own state for a vacation idea with Holiday Inn?
At Holiday Inn, there are countless opportunities for adventure, education and rejuvenation. Think of it as a “state-cation” instead of a “staycation”. Whether you’re looking to visit historical landmark, spend a long weekend at the beach, or even stay a night in the big city, Holiday Inn lets you experience a fun and easy getaway whatever state you reside. Recently, they’ve also made changes transforming its hotels world wide to include signature bedding with “soft” and “firm” pillows and power showers in the bathroom- just to name a few, all with a more contemporary look and feel. Holiday Inn boasts more than 2,500 locations in the US, offering a fun and easy getaway in every state.
Being from Northern Virginia, we are only about less than an hour to historic Georgetown and I’m looking into taking my family down to the newly relaunched Holiday Inn WASHINGTON-GEORGETOWN where we will have easy access to all of Washington DC’s area attractions, such as the White House, National Zoo, Smithsonian museums, and Washington Monument. We have already seen a few of these famous Washington DC attractions but have not yet explored the historic part of Georgetown. I’ve heard so many good things about Georgetown and I can’t wait to see all of it with my family!
What’s good about is that it is close enough to home but far enough to experience a getaway- and the convenience and affordability of it all is the big bonus! This Holiday Inn “state-cation” I think, is a great opportunity to rediscover my home state and still enjoy a vacation.
So if you’re anything like me, I like saving money and if you’re looking to do an affordable family getaway, why not take a look around your own state and stay at a Holiday Inn close by? You’ll be surprised at what you’ll find.
