Here are 15 tips for easy summer home decorating. Incorporating all or some of these ideas will sure to brighten up your living space for the season!

1. Add Some Color. One of the easiest ways to brighten up your living space is to add some color. Consider adding brightly colored accent pieces such as throw pillows, rugs, or artwork to your living room. Also, consider painting an accent wall in bold colors such as bright orange, yellow, or turquoise.

2. Bring in Some Plants. Summer is the perfect time to bring some greenery into your living space. Plants add natural beauty to your home and help purify the air, creating a more peaceful and relaxing environment. Consider adding some easy-to-care-for plants such as succulents, ferns, or spider plants.

4. Add Some Beachy Accents. Bring the beach into your home with beachy accents such as seashells, driftwood, or a nautical-inspired throw or rug. These touches will add a relaxed and casual vibe to your living space and make you feel like you’re on vacation all summer.

I love having natural light in my home. During the summer we make sure we switch curtains from thick “black out” curtains to light pastel colored ones. Indoor plants have always been a staple in our home. I am thinking about making my own mini greenhouse too. The summer heat won’t be good for my pretty plants and orchids.
