Hi! My name is Jocelyn Duncan, Founder and Editor of Hip Mama's Place. I'm a single working mom of two beautiful, spirited boys named Gabriel Sebastian and Jaden Francis. Prior to mommyhood, I taught English Reading and Writing to grade schoolers for six years. I traded in my Education degree to become a full-time child rearer, active moms group organizer offline, and running around being fiance to my wonderful man. We are getting married in September 2010! :)

I created Hip Mama's Place to bring moms the latest trends in mom and baby fashion, gifts, home decor, and more, while supporting mompreneurs and work at home moms by promoting their mom-owned businesses. I am aiming to make Hip Mama's Place a fun online community for moms where we can all participate in contests and giveaways from time to time, avail of exclusive discounted products and services from numerous high-quality businesses, join in on the fun mom discussions on our message boards, and most of all, recognize fantastic mom bloggers everyday.

I hope we can all continue to thrive as moms and support each other through Hip Mama's Place. It's been an exciting journey so far creating such a unique, interactive online community of wonderful moms like Hip Mama's Place!
