This is the ultimate Green Bean Casserole recipe made with fresh green beans and crispy bacon! Adding a little Parmesan Cheese gives this classic casserole dish extra flavor. It’s easy to make, creamy, crunchy and so delicious!

cream of mushroom soup

Preheat your oven and grease a 3 quart casserole dish.

Boil the green beans in water for 5 minutes then, drain the hot water immediately and rinse the cooked green beans in cold water to stop them from cooking.

Whisk the soup and milk together in a large bowl.

Add the cooked, crumbled bacon, the garlic, pepper, and half of the fried onions into the soup mixture. Stir everything together, then pour it into the casserole dish.
