If are near a Home Depot store instead, sign your kids up for the free build a Mini-Crate Pencil Holder workshop scheduled tomorrow, August 2nd. These workshops are designed for children ages 5-12. Many other free workshops for kids are offered the first Saturday between 9AM-12PM at all Home Depot stores.


There is also a FREE Lowe’s Kids’ Clinic and they will be building a wooden Monsters vs. Aliens Trolley on August 9th. Register your kids as soon as you can to reserve your spot as spaces are limited!

Kids Bowl FREE All Summer Long!

Summer will never get boring. Thanks to deals offered by Kids Bowl Free and AMF, families have more reasons to go out and get active this summer! 

The Kids Bowl Free program is back this year!  Select bowling centers and schools around the country are offering up 2 FREE games of bowling per day! Just go here and click on your state map to find a participating bowling center location near you and to check their daily offerings. I had my kids registered with this program last year and they loved it! 
 


If you’re near an AMF bowling center instead, they are also offering FREE bowling for kids at AMF all summer long! Kids ages 15 and under registered in the AMF Summer Games program can enjoy 3 free games every weekday
from open til 6 pm – all summer long! Note that shoe rental is not included.  Offer is valid through September 1st, 2014.  Adults can also get on on the bowling fun with the Family Pass offer for $39.95 (up to 4 adults can play). Cool deal! 🙂

Visit your local LEGO Store on the first Tuesday of every month and you can learn how to build a cool mini model, and take it home – for free! Quantities are limited and offer is good while supplies last only. Models are not for sale and cannot be purchased. One free per child. Event is open to children ages 6 to 14 only.  Check with your local LEGO Store for dates and times – dates vary by country.


No prior registration is required. Just show up at your local LEGO Store at least 10 minutes before the event starts to secure your FREE LEGO bricks!

They will be offering and teaching skills on casting (fishing), archery, knot tying and prizes for kids that complete a scavenger hunt! Home Depot is offering a free workshop for kids where they get to build a Flower Planter just in time for Mother’s Day!  This cute planter will make a great gift for mom!  This free workshop event will take place on May 3, Saturday from 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM at a Home Depot near you on a first come, first served basis so make sure you register your kid/s in advance in order to reserve your spot/s! 

*Home Depot workshops teach children do-it-yourself skills, tool safety and instill a sense of pride and accomplishment. All kids get to keep their craft, receive a FREE certificate of achievement, a Workshop Apron, and a commemorative pin. One workshop kit, apron and pin per child, while supplies last. Children must be present at the store to participate in the workshop and receive the kit, apron and pin.


At Lowe’s, on Saturday, May 10 at 10 a.m., your kids get to build a cool Flower Delivery Truck and take it home for FREE!  Just add a flower and it’s the perfect way to deliver a special gift to Mom!

Visit your local LEGO Store on the first Tuesday of every month and you can learn how to build a cool mini model, and take it home – for free! Quantities are limited and offer is good while supplies last only. Models are not for sale and cannot be purchased. One free per child. Event is open to children ages 6 to 14 only.  Check with your local LEGO Store for dates and times – dates vary by country. 


No prior registration is required. Just show up at your local LEGO Store at least 10 minutes before the event starts to secure your FREE LEGO bricks! 

Next Monthly Mini Model Build: LEGO Spring Tree: Tuesday, March 4 begins at 5:00 pm until supplies last.

Here are upcoming free kids’ workshops to get your kids’ hands busy in the next few weekends! 

Home Depot is offering a free workshop for kids where they get to build a Trojan Horse Bank from the new DreamWorks animated film, “Mr. Peabody & Sherman”, coming in March, 2014.  This free workshop event will take place on March 1st, Saturday from 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM at a Home Depot near you on a first come, first served basis so make sure you register your kid/s in advance in order to reserve your spot/s! 

*Home Depot workshops teach children do-it-yourself skills, tool safety and instill a sense of pride and accomplishment. All kids get to keep their craft, receive a FREE certificate of achievement, a Workshop Apron, and a commemorative pin. One workshop kit, apron and pin per child, while supplies last. Children must be present at the store to participate in the workshop and receive the kit, apron and pin.
