Summertime means cooking out, swimming, going on a vacation and believe it or not, for me and my husband, it’s also an ideal time for tackling some small home projects. We really love our current 22 year old home and around the spring and summer, we always try to do something like re-painting a room, doing some minor renovations or just to improve its overall look.
This year, my husband and I decided it’s time to we decided to update our two younger boys’ bedrooms. They’re now getting bigger and older and have already outgrown the current decor and theme of their bedrooms. Even though we mostly hired a professional to paint most of the rooms when we first moved into our home six years ago, we like to DIY a lot. BUT.. my husband will be the first one to admit that he doesn’t like (or have the patience) to do some of the ‘handyman’ chores around the house.
Like mounting a TV on the wall in our son G’s bedroom. Yep.
I know it sounds easy. But do you know that mounting a TV on a wall requires not only the installation of the TV, but also making sure the TV is securely mounted, the wires are concealed and that the TV is working properly? When we had our old TV, we placed it on a stand and tucked the wired behind so you couldn’t see it. Saying this though, there was quite a lot of tangled wires, to the point we opted to check out sites like Printasleeve to find a way to manage them better. Now we have a TV which you can mount on the walls, at least we won’t have to deal with loose cables anymore. Nowadays, you can buy TV mounting kits at a hardware store. But if you’re anything like us and you’re not always the confident DIY type, mounting a heavy TV on the wall can be quite intimidating.
So recently, I was introduced to Puls. Now what could be a better timing?! I jumped at the offer to check out their service because yes, we need help mounting a TV!

Our Puls Tech Experience
Once we had our appointment set up for a tech to mount our TV, I received a text message from Puls confirming the date of my appointment.
Our tech, Jose, arrived promptly and was very courteous and knowledgeable. He showed us the process of installing the TV on our wall, and was very patient when my husband and I was deciding where to position the TV. We just got our son G a new bedroom furniture set with a desk for his computer, and because of that, it took us a little while to decide where to position the TV. But Jose waited patiently and gave us helpful suggestions when we were discussing this whole process. The whole installation took less than an hour from start to finish and we were very pleased with the results. Jose made sure that we were happy with the install and answered all our questions before he left.
Overall, we were very satisfied with our first experience hiring a tech from Puls and will sure be using them again in the near future for other home services.
It’s also great to know that Puls is very selective in choosing their technicians and only hire the top 10% of technicians who apply. They also require a comprehensive background check for every technician so you can trust the tech you get is an expert in their field.
