Quick and easy to make and bursting with flavor, this sheet pan chicken fajitas recipe is just what you need for those busy weeknights! Featuring tender chicken breast, vibrant bell peppers, and aromatic spices, each bite is a delightful fusion of smoky, tangy, and savory flavors that will tantalize your taste buds!



1 ½ pounds chicken breast, cut into ¼ thick strips

3 bell peppers, cut into thin strips

1 large yellow onion, cut into thin strips

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 tablespoon chili powder

1 ½ teaspoons cumin

½ teaspoon paprika

½ teaspoon dried oregano

½ teaspoon garlic powder

½ teaspoon salt

¼ teaspoon ground black pepper

½ teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)


  1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.
  2. Arrange the chicken and vegetables on a large rimmed baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil.
  3. Whisk the spices in a small bowl until well combined. Sprinkle the seasoning mix over the chicken and vegetables on the sheet pan and toss to combine.  Arrange everything into an even layer.
  4. Bake for 20-25 minutes, tossing everything halfway through, until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165 degrees F. 
  5. Serve warm in tortillas with your favorite fajita toppings.
