Description

Try this savory pumpkin-shaped cheese ball made with only four ingredients for a fun, festive fall appetizer perfect for Halloween or Thanksgiving!


Ingredients

Scale

16oz. Cream Cheese, Softened 

2 teaspoons Zesty Italian Seasoning 

½ teaspoon Worcestershire Sauce 

2 cups Sharp Cheddar Cheese, shredded 

Bell Pepper Stem 

Plastic Wrap 

String or Thread


Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, 1 cup of cheddar  cheese, zesty Italian seasoning, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix everything until well  combined.
  2. Form cheeseball into a wide ball shape and roll in the remaining shredded cheese  until it is completely covered. 
  3. Scoop the cheese mixture onto a sheet of plastic wrap. Wrap it tightly in the plastic  wrap.  
  4. To create a pumpkin-like appearance with ridges, wrap the ball in twine or string tightly in segments like you would a pumpkin, tying at the top. 
  5. Place the wrapped ball in the fridge and let it chill for at least 2-3 hours, or until firm. 6. Once chilled, remove the twine or string, if used.  
  6. Gently press the bell pepper stem into the top center of the cheeseball to mimic a  pumpkin stem. 
  7. Place the pumpkin-shaped cheeseball on a serving platter. Serve with crackers,  sliced veggies, or chips of your choice.
