2 ¼ cups heavy whipping cream
14 ounce can sweetened condensed milk
1 ½ teaspoons peppermint extract
3-4 drops green food coloring
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, whip the cream into stiff peaks using an electric hand mixer.
- Once the heavy cream forms stiff peaks (about 3-5 minutes of mixing), add the sweetened condensed milk, peppermint extract, and food coloring. Gently fold it into the heavy cream until homogenous.
- Fold the chocolate chips into the ice cream mixture until they are evenly distributed.
- Transfer the ice cream mixture to a 9x5 inch loaf pan and allow the ice cream to set in the freezer for 4 hours.
- Scoop, serve, and enjoy!
