Description

Easy to prepare and make no-churn mint chocolate chip ice cream offers homemade creamy goodness with mint and rich chocolate chips ... no ice cream maker needed!


Ingredients

Scale

2 ¼ cups heavy whipping cream

14 ounce can sweetened condensed milk

1 ½ teaspoons peppermint extract

3-4 drops green food coloring

1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips


Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, whip the cream into stiff peaks using an electric hand mixer.
  2. Once the heavy cream forms stiff peaks (about 3-5 minutes of mixing), add the sweetened condensed milk, peppermint extract, and food coloring. Gently fold it into the heavy cream until homogenous.
  3. Fold the chocolate chips into the ice cream mixture until they are evenly distributed.
  4. Transfer the ice cream mixture to a 9x5 inch loaf pan and allow the ice cream to set in the freezer for 4 hours.
  5. Scoop, serve, and enjoy!
