Description
These air fryer sweet potato wedges are a great addition to any meal. They’re tasty, easy to prepare and cook up in no time which makes them a great option for busy weeknights!
Ingredients
- 2 pounds (2-3) sweet potatoes, cleaned and cut into wedges
- Non-stick cooking spray or olive oil spray
- 2–3 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 teaspoons coarse salt
- 2 teaspoons onion powder
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish, optional
Instructions
1. Clean and cut the sweet potatoes into wedges, then put in a large bowl for mixing.
2. Preheat the air fryer to 380 degrees F.
3. Drizzle the sweet potato wedges with oil and combine the spices. Sprinkle the spice blend over the wedges and toss to coat evenly.
4. Place the wedges in the basket of the air fryer, allowing enough space for them to cook evenly. You may need to cook them in batches to achieve a crispy outside.
5. Cook the wedges at 380 degrees F for 15-18 minutes, turning them half way through.
6. Remove the wedges from the air fryer and place them on a baking sheet in a 220 F oven to keep them warm.
7. Continue cooking the remaining wedges and serve immediately with ketchup or other condiments of your choice.
Notes
Air Fryer temperatures may vary so adjust the cook time and temperature that works for your appliance.
