Once again, the First Family will be hosting the 136th annual White House Easter Egg Roll set on Monday, April 21st, 2014. This year’s theme is “Hop into Healthy, Swing into Shape,” and more than 30,000 people will assemble on the South Lawn to join in the fun. You will enjoy live music, sports courts, cooking stations, storytelling and, of course, Easter egg rolling. In addition to all of the fun, the day’s activities will encourage children to lead healthy, active lives in support of the First Lady’s Let’s Move! initiative.
Tickets for the White House Easter Egg Roll are provided free of charge and will be distributed via an online lottery hosted on www.recreation.gov . If you’d like to get in on the lottery, the applications are now open and will close on Monday, March 10 at 10:00 a.m. EDT. You can visit www.recreation.gov for more details.
This is the second time that I applied for the online lottery. Hopefully, we’ll get picked this year. Good luck! 🙂
