Sunology recently invited me to watch this powerful video concerning sun protection. After watching this video, I vowed to myself never to skip SPF again!
Video producer Thomas Leveritt took to the Brooklyn streets and set up a camera with a special UV light and monitor, capturing men, women and children’s SHOCKED responses when they discover the damage to their skin. The worst part? It’s invisible to the naked eye.
Leveritt reminds us of the importance of daily sunscreen use, showcasing the imperative actions we must take to avert sun damage.
I’m a little weird about applying products on my (and my family’s) skin and I know that many sunscreen brands are loaded with unnecessary chemicals that we don’t need. So it’s great that the Environmental Working Group’s 2014 Sunscreen Guide is out to guide us consumers in the right direction – like, which sunscreen products are safe to use and offers the best sun protection.. urging us all to make sun safety as essential as seat belts.
The EWG sun protection guide also lists sunscreen products that they recommend to use and I’m glad that the Sunology brand (our favorite band of sunscreens) holds a level 1 ranking. I love that this brand is committed to offering broad-spectrum protection without the use of any man-made chemicals in their active ingredients. They also use inactive ingredients in their sun protection products that contain vitamins and antioxidants that supplement the skin’s natural oils, thus promoting healthy, youthful skin. I am now an avid Sunology sunscreen user and I also love the fact that Sunology offersthe highest SPF recommended by the FDA made with natural active ingredients (SPF 50).
For more details about how Sunology protects your skin from the harmful rays of the sun, go to their website at: www.Sunology.com. Right now, they are offering FREE shipping with purchases of $25 or more. Plus, 10% of the sales they will make for the month of October will be donated to BRIGHT PINK in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
