Congrats to Shel, whose four extra entries won her this fab giveaway from Plantronics!

For a long time I had one of those prepaid cell phones and I rarely used it because the minutes cost so much. My husband bought me a “real” cell phone for Christmas and now I’m on it all the time. I’m not skilled enough to drive and talk at the same time and I love to phone my sister while I’m on my way to work or running errands but I always have to tell her “hold on” if I’m going into the store or bank so I can have free use of both hands. This would be perfect for those drives and errands and they look so pretty! I’d love a pink one to match my pink cell phone.

I love that I could do hands-free talking while driving 🙂

  3. 04/03/2009 / 2:55 am

My kids would appreciate my hands on the steering wheel instead of the phone – and did I mention….I drive a stick shift! Thanks for thinking about the safety of my family!

  4. 04/03/2009 / 2:26 am

This would be great for me because I can use it while performing so many tasks.

  5. 04/03/2009 / 2:18 am

This would be so useful for me. I always seem to be taking notes or numbers down when I am on my phone it would be so much easier. Thanks.

  6. 04/03/2009 / 1:58 am

This would be useful to me as we have a newborn and my husband calls a few times a day to check on us from work. I never seem to have a hand dry or empty, so this would definitely make things a bit easier.

  7. 04/03/2009 / 1:37 am

This would be useful in many different ways:
    – cut back on the amount of radition or whatnot coming from the actual phone (that sounds weird).
    – can fold laundry or drive while both hands busy.
    – can also walk around the neighborhood (exercise, you know) while pumping my weights with my hands.

  10. 04/02/2009 / 11:24 pm

I dont have one currently so this would be handy~

    Thanks for the chance 🙂

  16. 04/02/2009 / 6:55 pm

I love that this doesn’t look like a big black blob hanging off your ear. The design is sleek & cute. We have been very pleased with the Plantronics earpiece that my husband owns. It’s held up well (he’s in construction), has a solid fit (again, a must in construction. It has to stay still!), & the call quality is phenomenal!

  17. 04/02/2009 / 5:20 pm

Wow, this would be great to stay close with friends and family. Thank you.

  18. 04/02/2009 / 4:57 pm

This would be very useful to me. It would be perfect to use while driving. It would also help out tremendously at home. When I get a phone call, it’s too hard for me to hold the phone and do things around the house at the same time. I would be able to multitask much easier with this.

  29. 04/02/2009 / 3:39 am

A Bluetooth would be safer and more convenient than holding the darn phone to my ear especially during the more lengthy calls. Thanks!

  30. 04/02/2009 / 3:32 am

I have a seven month old daughter. The more hands-free I can get, trust me, the better. I first thought that having a cell phone that had the speaker feature would make things easier, but yelling for the person on the other side of the line could understand me was annoying. Plus, I could barely hear their responses over Elaina crying. This would probably be a great thing to get my hands on.

  31. 04/02/2009 / 3:24 am

I would love to win this my other bluetooth someone how got broke.

  32. 04/02/2009 / 3:23 am

What a great contest! The Plantronics Discovery 925 would be helpful when driving. I’ve been using a regular corded headset, but I’ve used it so much that the wiring inside connects on and off now. This would be a great replacement. Thank you!

Christina – xristya@rock.com – The idea of being hands-free in so many different situations – in the car, carrying a pet or a child, doing artwork, etc. – is just wonderful, and that’s why this earpiece would be very helpful for me, the multi-tasker!

  45. 04/01/2009 / 7:30 pm

I spend a lot of time in the car, carting the kids around, running errands, and doing volunteer work. It is now illegal to use a handheld phone while driving in my state, so this would keep me from having to pull over for a call.

  46. 04/01/2009 / 7:22 pm

It’s not legal to hold your cell phone while talking in CA anymore, and I can’t predict when calls will come in. This would be perfect for me!

  47. 04/01/2009 / 6:31 pm

I would love to win this so I could stay connected to my family and business associates while running my daily 2K!

Thanks for the ‘great’ giveaway offering!

While my cell phone does have a speakerphone feature, it is often distracting to the person I’m talking to as it picks up all the
other sounds in the room. The Bluetooth Earpiece would allow me to be handsfree while giving me more privacy in my conversation.

    I subscribe in Google reader.

  50. 04/01/2009 / 3:07 pm

When I drive long distances for work, I need a hands-free earpiece to keep in touch with my wife and friends. This would be just the ticket.

I can’t believe this! I broke my Planitronics bluetooth a few months ago and desperately need another one. My house is much neater when I can talk on the phone *and* clean it! Plus I get tired of having to pull over every single time someone calls me. If I had a bluetooth, I could answer and let them know that I’m busy driving and can’t talk!

I favorited you on Technorati (I already subscribe to your blog, though, so I couldn’t do that again!).

This would be useful to me because I occasionally have to drive in Chicago and it’s illegal there to talk on the cell without an earpiece when driving…

  56. 04/01/2009 / 3:57 am

I`d get good use out of this while I walking through the mall. I always wanted to be like that old woman in the commercial. Everyone thinks she is talking to herself & is nuts, and at the end of it she is wearing a bluetooth.

  59. 04/01/2009 / 3:30 am

I need this because I literally have a pain in my neck. When I’m multi-tasking and need to keep my hands free I have my cell squashed between my ear and my shoulder. Ach, that’s an un-natural position unless you are Quasimodo.

  60. 03/31/2009 / 11:58 pm

This would be useful to me because I don’t have an ear piece at the moment for my cell so I have to let it ring until I’m at my destination.

  61. 03/31/2009 / 7:33 pm

I would love to have a hand-free ear piece. I could get so much done while answering the phone.

  62. 03/31/2009 / 6:18 pm

    1. I would love to win this amazing Plantronics Bluetooth headset because it will make my making and receiving cell phone calls so much easier by giving me freedom with my hands to tend to my 3 young children, one of which is only 7 months old. I cannot say how many times I have been driving, or changing my baby and my phone has started ringing and I just can’t answer it in time and have missed important calls as a result. This bluetooth would make my life so much easier and less stressful having the convenience of keeping this in my ear so no more missed calls, how nice that would be!

ahh I died when I saw all the purpleness! love purple..

anywhoo, I’d love to win because I got a ticket (three days ago) ‘cuz I was on my phone while trying to park. The phone was ON SPEAKER resting on the dashboard, but the New York City police lady did not give two craps and gave me a ticket.

even though it was on speaker, so technically i wasn’t holding it.

My father didn’t buy that excuse neither (I’m 21) so I have to actually pay for the ticket and dad isn’t bailing me out.

    So plz pick me! =)

I would love to win this because I am always in the car driving my tweens here and here runnung errands. I don’t feel safe driving with the children in the car, answering my cell phone and keeping an eye out on traffic.

in my state cell phone use must be hands free when driving, It would be nice to not have to pull over when I receive a call

  96. 03/28/2009 / 4:45 am

Now I know you all have a friend like mine. She thinks a 2 hour conversation is normal. I want my hands free while I am being tortured. That way I can play on the computer while she tells me every thing that has happened the last couple of days.

  97. 03/28/2009 / 3:29 am

I always wanted one! Specially when I talk to my friends and family. Talking about multi tasking while driving or at home. Specially on school zone. It will be great if I win this. I’m #1 fan of hipmama place. already have your little logo on my blog and I get your updates as well. THank you for the wonderful giveaways.

  98. 03/28/2009 / 2:56 am

I want this to keep my husband safe! He tends to chat on his long drive home everyday and I want his hands on the wheel! Thanks for a great contest.

  99. 03/28/2009 / 2:33 am

This would be a wonderful addition for my cell phone, then I would be able to talk to my children and grands hands free while I’m doing something else. I rarely talk on the phone while I’m driving unless I pull over first. Thanks for this wonderful giveaway.

Headsets or handsfree is a legal must for cell use while driving where I live – this would be great.

I would love to win because I love the thought of hands free talking. I have an odd shaped phone, so I can’t cradle it with my shoulder, so this win would be a blessing. rose.post at gmail.com

this would be useful to me cause i like to talk like a good hour to my sis on the phone and my arm would have to fall asleep. plus it gives me a chance to work on other things and still talk to her. very functional i say. thank you for the chance.

  112. 03/27/2009 / 6:10 pm

I have to keep up with my adult kids and haven’t yet bought one, so this would be handy.

This would be useful to me because of the earpiece that goes inside the ear–my current headset just rests on the ear and I feel like I can barely hear! Thanks for the contest!

  117. 03/27/2009 / 3:12 pm

This is useful to me because, here in CA it is against the law to drive while talking on your cell phone. If I need to receive an urgent call, I can use tis. Also, it would be great to use when I am talking on the phone, but needing my hands to do something, like cooking. Thanks!

I would use this in the car. I get lost a lot so I’m always on the cell phone trying to get my DH to tell me where I am, and how to get places. There’s a new law around here that prohibits cell phones while driving unless it’s hands-free, which is a great idea for safety reasons but hard when you don’t have the equipment! I’m always pulling over to get on the phone now.

I would love to have the Plantronics Discovery 925 – Black. Any headset would help me alot since I only have full control over 1 hand… if that hand is busy holding a phone, I can’t easily jot down notes/numbers…

I would give this to my daughter, since she is frequently on the phone while in her car and I do worry about that. She also walks often, and many times at times of the day when there are not many people around. This would at least make it a little safer.

I need to go hands free so bad, and this would be a cool way to do so. Thanks.

  127. 03/27/2009 / 6:50 am

I finally got a bluetooth for Christmas and I believe someone stole it. It would be so nice to have one again. It made it easier to take care of my daughter.

  128. 03/27/2009 / 6:50 am

This awesome, very generous Bluetooth earpiece would mean so much to me because just today I had to try to answer my phone in the car because the ringtone told me it was my daughter who is diabetic and has quite a few emergencies and nearly went off the road and over corrected and scared me to death. It an accident that just didn’t happen. If I am blessed enough to win I will never go without it!

  129. 03/27/2009 / 6:17 am

I could use this because California requires a hand free device while in the car.

  130. 03/27/2009 / 6:14 am

This earpiece is useful because it lets you drive and talk on the phone, very useful since it’s not legal or safe to drive while using a hand held phone!

  131. 03/27/2009 / 6:05 am

I’d love a pink one to match my pink cell phone.

ahh how wouldnt it help, between all the many hours in the car shuffling my teens around, hands in the sink doing dishes and trying to clean office buildings with a phone under my chin, would be sooo nice, i love the colors too

  133. 03/27/2009 / 4:09 am

I have never used one. I will have to figure out how.

  134. 03/27/2009 / 3:16 am

This would be GREAT to use in the car as a handsfree device. So no fooling ariubd in the car with the cell phone.

  135. 03/27/2009 / 2:26 am

This would be useful for me because if I want to talk on my cell phone while driving in my state, I must use a hands free device. We all know how much time a mom spends in her car driving kids around. This would help me obey the law, keep my family safe, and get things done all at the same time.

  136. 03/27/2009 / 2:17 am

this would be useful to me because i’m an obsessive multi-tasker & get things done when I need to be on calls!

  137. 03/27/2009 / 1:39 am

i need this because the california state government requires me to use one. thank god i don’t have to think for myself.

  138. 03/26/2009 / 10:18 pm

This would be cool because i’m about to get a new cell that has bluetooth capability.

I always want to talk when I am on my treadmill but holding a phone is almost impossible. This is the perfect solution for me!

  150. 03/26/2009 / 6:06 pm

I wont really have a use for this as I call no one and no one calls me but this IF I win would be a present for my bro and sis in law that like to call each other for no reason other than to just say hello I am thinking about you so I am sure that one of them will be using it a lot and the other one will wish it was in their ear so they can use it too….

  151. 03/26/2009 / 5:55 pm

I could talk on the phone without stopping or wrenching my neck to hold it while I am doing things. i do not use a cell phone while driving as its illegal but still love the fact I can be talking while looking at salvation army and telling someone sizes and looking thru, or breast feeding and still talking.

  152. 03/26/2009 / 5:29 pm

I would be useful to me because I have to often use my phone while driving and I take it with me everywhere. If I had this earpiece I’d be safe and hands-free which is very important.
