I’m a mom and wife on the go. I like being busy and I admit, I don’t always take the time I need to relax and rejuvenate.
My morning routine varies. But most mornings, I wake up around 8 AM, take a shower, get some breakfast and then tackle my work and home responsibilities literally from around 9 AM to 9 PM. Sometimes I’m just totally nonstop- from when my boys wake up in the morning until I put them to bed around 8 PM. Sometimes I don’t even get to take my shower until 3 or 4 PM. Seriously. I just completely resign myself as a mom. No complaints. I love being a MOM! 🙂
But as any busy mom would agree, we all need self-pampering once in a while. Whether it’s giving ourselves a mini facial or updating our pedicure, you and me can agree that simple things like these can help lift our spirits up and make us feel more confident to face our challenging day ahead!
For me, a dab of my favorite lip gloss before heading out to take my kids to school or run my errands makes me feel great! Believe it or not. I loooove wearing lip glosses. So I’m really glad that Wisk tasked me to do just that: put a dab of my fave lip gloss and pucker up! Just kidding. 🙂
For this experiment, I am actually going to show you all how oil stains from a lip gloss can be easily eliminated with the new Wisk with Stain Spectrum Technology– to make our lives easier as a laundry-tackling mom! 🙂
First, what are oil stains? Oil stains appear in all shapes and sizes, from your kids’ favorite after school snack (peanut butter on apples) to your favorite salad dressing. Oils however, aren’t just confined to foods. They can be in your teen girl’s makeup or your favorite lipstick or lip gloss!
The Experiment Tools:
A hand towel
A compact mirror
Lip gloss (in my fave color: raspberry!)
Wisk with Stain Spectrum Technology laundry detergent
Well, I wasn’t exactly kidding when I said that Wisk asked me to apply lip gloss and pucker up. So see, I don’t only get to do that, I also get to participate in this fun experiment to help me tackle problem clothing stains!
So to show you all how I tackled oil stains from a lip gloss, I blotted my lips with the hand towel so it looks like this:
Next, I ran lukewarm water on the entire kiss mark before pre-treating it with Wisk. I waited for about 2-3 minutes for the Wisk to absorb the fibers on the hand towel.
Then I rubbed/scrubbed the stain for about 30 seconds.
And again, I was amazed at how Wisk worked through the oil stain! Look at this!
The hand towel looked like new again! Amazing!
And me? I am reclaiming my “me time” by not spending so much time tackling stains on clothes. Now I have more time to do other things that I love doing (such as creating jewelry and re-designing my jewelry store online, learning how to sew, scrapbooking). And best of all, my laundry has been so much easier to deal with since I’ve been using Wisk’s powerful new stain fighting formula: Wisk with Stain Spectrum ™Technology. No matter what type of stain I’m dealing with: carbohydrates, proteins or oils- Wisk with Stain Spectrum ™Technology is the solution to tackle them all!
Now available at major retailers nationwide, such as Walmart, Target and Kroger, Wisk with Stain Spectrum ™Technology retails for $5.99 for a 50 fl oz. bottle that cleans 32 loads.
