Are you all ready for the holidays?! I am! 🙂
And in the spirit of sharing and giving, I’m excited to partner once again with one of my favorite restaurants, Zoës Kitchen, for a holiday “selfless giving” campaign!
I’m sure most of you have been to a Zoës Kitchen before. But if you haven’t and you like Mediterranean food, you should definitely try their menu of delicious, Mediterranean dishes and meals. At Zoës Kitchen, grilling is the predominate method of cooking along with an abundance of fresh fruits and vegetables, fresh herbs, olive oil and lean proteins — with gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan options for those who have dietary concerns!
We love dining at Zoës Kitchen as a family! We live close to one and my husband and I would go there usually for a quick lunch and even dinner.
For this campaign, I was tasked to choose three people to receive a special holiday gift bag from Zoës Kitchen and why I believe each person is deserving of this special gift.
The first person that came to my mind is the lady cashier at my local grocery store named Andrea. I have been having small chats with her at the grocery store recently. I learned that her husband got sick not too long ago and is on a disability break. They have three small kids and from the way she sounded the last time I talked to her, she was feeling down. I thought of her right away and wanted to give her this gift as a ‘cheer up’ and sure enough, she was all smiles when I handed her the bag. She said she hasn’t been to a Zoës Kitchen restaurant before and that she would love to try it with her family. I felt warm inside just hearing her say “thank you and happy holidays!” and seeing her gasp with delight! 🙂
The second person I chose was our mailman named Joe. You know as a blogger, I get all kinds of packages every single week from the brands that I work with. This special mailman hands me my packages with a cheerful attitude every single time. I thought giving him this gift was a way for me to thank him back for his great service and for his positive attitude. He was so grateful for the gift bag and said that it was perfect and that his wife loves going to Zoës Kitchen too! Selfless giving? Check. 🙂
The last and third person I wanted to give the gift to is you, my loyal reader! Yes. Because everyday, you inspire me to keep going with what I’ve started here at Hip Mama’s Place. Looking back in early 2007, I was a mother with small kids and I didn’t even know what blogging means. Hip Mama’s Place has become so much a part of my life and I have you all, my loyal HMP readers, to thank for! Giving one of you this holiday gift bag makes me happy. 🙂
And for those of you who are still looking for a last minute gift, this thoughtful holiday gift bag from Zoës Kitchen is also available in store! They are perfect for teachers, neighbors, and friends. It’s a $30 value with a $25 Zoës Kitchen gift card inside, a Spice of Life cookie and a $5 bonus card! Note that you can only buy this gift bag in-store.
Hosting a holiday party and still deciding what to serve? Consider Zoës Catering! They got Zoës Kitchen Party Packs that serve groups of 10 and are each filled with their own unique combination of fresh fruits, veggies, good-for-you proteins and grains!
