As the end of the school year approaches, it is harder for kids to stay focused in the classroom. Let’s face it, the promise of a lazy summer make it harder for kids to think about things like math and science. To encourage kids to stay strong in the classroom until the last days of school, some businesses are offering incentives where kids get Freebies and Rewards for Good Grades! Some of these freebies are for good grades, and others you can even get for acing a test!
Take a look at this list:
Krispy Kreme – Get a free original glazed donut for each A (up to 6 A’s).
Chick-fil-A – Bring in your all A’s and B’s report card and receive a FREE 8 pack nuggets! Call ahead to your location to see if they are participating
Pizza Hut – Each marking period, any child who has 3 A’s or the equivalent thereof, will receive one Personal Pan Pizza and a small soft drink or carton of milk by presenting his or her report card to the manager. This offer is good for Elementary and Middle School students. Dine-in only. Student must be present and the original report card must be presented. Available at participating locations.
McDonalds – If your child has a straight “A” report card, he/she can receive a FREE Happy Meal. This may vary by location so call ahead first!
Family Video – Throughout the month of June, Family Video gives a FREE overnight movie or game rental to students for every ‘A’ they receive on their final report card in any core subjects designed to ensure that we are an active, participating member of the community in which our store is located.
Tesoro Gallons For Grades – Students ages 13-23 earn reward cards for good grades. Offered only for residents in Idaho, Minnesota, Nevada, North Dakota, Oregon, South Dakota, Utah or Washington.
Cheryl’s Cookies – Get up to 3 FREE Cookies for A’s.
Cold Stone Creamery – Some stores are individually owned & operated so, each store may be different. So it is best to ask your local store as some have offered free products in the past.
Bank Rewards – Check with your local banks and credit unions as many of them offer money rewards for good grades too!
Although the above merchants have participated in the Good Grade Freebies and Reward programs for students, it’s always a good idea to give them a quick call before you head out to make sure they are still honoring these programs. If you know of any other freebies and rewards being offered to students for having good grades, please feel free to comment on this post and I’ll add it to the list.
Thank you, Saving Dollars and Sense for compiling this list!
