There are some folks, in spite of the tremendous effort that they put into cardio and other weight loss routines, still can’t get the results that they seek. There seems to be no workout, diet, or fasting technique that is able to get rid of those stubborn areas with accumulated fat. Of course, there is no shame in tipping the scales a bit if you are working towards being healthy and strong. However, you might want to complement your efforts with a solution that will help you achieve that toned body much faster and naturally. Now you can do that with sculpsure. Here is why you need sculpsure if you are a bit on the heavy side.
- Get to Target Those Fat Pockets
Do not be surprised that all the dieting, lifting, and cardio have not been able to do away with your love handles; it is to be expected. In fact, research indicates that exercising and dieting first work on your visceral fat (the tissue of fat that surrounds your vital organs). The layer of fat under your skin, on the other hand, is a whole different can of worms. This subcutaneous fat is difficult, if not impossible, to get rid of naturally. Sculpsure treatment targets this fat layer using a laser device to heat it up without destroying the nearby organs and tissues. Your body then gradually eliminates this denatured fat thus permanently getting rid of it.
- Sculpsure Your Entire Body
Often, there is a particular problem area that gives us sleepless nights. Probably you might have more than one. As much exercising and dieting do give you a general improvement; the problem areas tend to persist because they are not targeted directly. With sculpsure, you can aim for the particular spots that have a tendency of storing fat.
- Back fat
- Below the butt
- Bra fat
- Under the chin
- There is No Downtime
This procedure takes less 25 minutes; therefore, it does not interfere with your life.
What is Sculpsure?
Sculpsure is an FDA-cleared completely non-surgical laser procedure. This technique is relies on controlled laser beams to heat up fat cells in your fat pockets to melt and destroy them. Sculpsure can effortlessly define and sculpt your problem spots.
How it works
Sculpsure utilizes laser technology to penetrate the skin while making sure not to cause damage to the surrounding organs and skin. During the procedure, the area to be acted upon is warmed up first for 4 minutes as the laser works towards heating up the fat cells in the subcutaneous layer. Your surgeon will then spend the next 21 minutes cycling the laser between a 25-second warming phase and a 10-second cooling phase. The cooling periods are essential in ensuring the laser does not overheat the skin while making sure that the fat cells maintain the elevated temperature during treatment. Your body’s lymphatic system then clears the damaged fat cells in a similar manner to how the body heals itself after a superficial injury. These fat cells are then gradually eliminated.
What You Need to Know
- 24% Fat Reduction
This is the percentage of fat you stand to lose in the area to be treated in one sculpsure session. However, this does not mean that you will lose a total of 48% fat if you go for two sessions. Rather, you will lose another 24% of the remaining fat.
Additionally, this is an average percentage. Some individuals might melt more fat than others. Typically, laser procedures are responded to differently by different persons.
Note that this figure is not a representative of total fat loss in the body but that of the treated area. Hence if you want to treat multiple parts, make sure that you are consistent in your treatment sessions to yield desired results.
This fat loss will not necessarily be reflected in terms of weight loss.
- The Experience
Most patients can generally tolerate the sculpsure procedure. However, some folks might experience discomfort or pain during the session.
Those with low pain tolerance are usually provided with pain management options.
Some individuals might develop post-treatment tenderness or swelling to the treated parts. Pain medications can alleviate these symptoms.
The swelling, tenderness, or soreness might last for up to 2 weeks.
- What to Avoid
You are advised to avoid pain medications prior to sculpsure treatments. This is because some anti-inflammatory medications might suppress the inflammatory reaction required for the disruption of fat cells.
Discontinue other laser treatment procedures such as laser skin tightening and laser hair removal. This is to avoid the scenario where your body absorbs too much laser energy from the various treatments.
Do not get direct exposure to the sun a few days prior to sculpsure. The U.V rays may make your skin sensitive thus causing you pain and discomfort during the sculpsure session.
- What You Need to Do
The fairer species should wait a few days after their period before attending a sculpsure session.
Shave the area to be treated.
Massage the treated area after the sculpsure procedure for about two weeks to assist in the elimination process.
Stay well hydrated so that you can help the body in eliminating the denatured fat cells.
Perform cardio for at least 30 minutes every day to help mobilize the fat cells.
Attend another sculpsure session after six weeks for improved results.
A survey of individuals that had sculpsure treatment revealed a 90% patient satisfaction rate. Sculpsure can be customized to just any area of the body. Additionally, there is not a minimum amount of fat that is set as the as the rate. This means that overweight individuals stand to benefit the most from this treatment. It is essential; however, that sculpsure is used to complement exercise and not used as a substitute for healthy living.
