Amazon Prime Photos “Family Vault” + A Chance to Win a $500 Gift Card!

Thanks to Amazon for sponsoring this post and providing prizes for the giveaway! Amazon, Fire and the Amazon Fire TV logo are trademarks of Amazon.com, Inc. or its affiliates.

I shop on Amazon a lot, so I love being an Amazon Prime member. Not only do I get fast, free shipping all the time, but I also get to take advantage of the new features to their Prime Photos service called “Family Vault“. Now to me, this is perfect timing! With all the holiday photos my family and friends are going to be taking soon, we’re sure to benefit from this helpful photo sharing and photo storage service!

So what is Family Vault and how does it work?

With Amazon Prime Photos Family Vault,  I can invite up to five family members or friends to join my online account for free, as long as I am a current Prime Member, in order to have access to Prime Photos benefits including unlimited storage and sharing of photos, plus an additional 5 GB for videos and other files. The idea of the Family Vault is to bring family photos together in one place and access them as easy as one-click or swipe from a computer or mobile device.

Watch this short video to see the use of Amazon Prime Photos by individuals and families in action:

As you can see from the video, you will quickly find your best photo from your recent birthday bash or the funniest picture of your feline friends or your kid throwing temper tantrums – by using the revamped keyword search feature. You know how you have hundreds of photos on your phone and you can’t find the ones you want? With this feature, you can quickly find and rediscover your favorite photos!  You can also search by image, or People view and Places view.

Other benefits of using the Family Vault includes: ability to order photo prints, cards, photo books, and calendars directly from your Prime Photos account and you can access your account through computers, iOS and Android phones, and tablets.
