How to freshen up your Spring menu

  1. Add fresh herbs to top any dish: sprigs of mint to your natural yogurt, or spearmint to your seltzer water!
  2. Know your local market and find something in season to not only create a meal, but also to liven up your fruit and vegetable basket!
  3. Watercress can make a great base of a salad, or used as an edible garnish on a meat dish! (And watercress is one of the top spring vegetables, it grows quickly!)
  4. If it is still cool where you are, warm up with a lovely spring onion soup! You’ll get the warmth with a ‘hint’ of the coming spring!

This salad looks right up my alley! These are the fresh, Spring flavors I love! I’d imagine it would be great with grapefruit too, or even if I added blueberries. Hmmm… I’ve never tried these salad dressings, but you totally have me convinced to find them and use them. I like that they use good-for-me ingredients!
