I recently added a few necklaces to my handmade jewelry shops on Etsy and ArtFire. One of them is this vintage-inspired photo locket necklace using red coral, green howlite gemstone beads and brass metal. It turned out so pretty!
Check out the heart filigree locket. I love it! And the charms- and antiqued gold key with a tiny clear Swarovski crystal and frosted soft pink Czech glass bell flower- added to the beauty of the necklace.
I basically wire-wrapped each of the red coral gemstones to the green howlite beads and finish it with a long and short brass chain. It's a great necklace to wear or give on Christmas holidays too, with the red and green combination of the gemstones.

Halloween costumes can be tricky. You don't want to look cheesy or lame, but you also don't want to be so creative/weird that no one gets what your costume is. Luckily, we've pulled together some foolproof costume ideas for this year. The best part? One of the places my kids love to visit is the zoo. They're fascinated with animals and sea creatures, so whenever we look for fun and exciting activities to do with our kids outdoors- the zoo is always on top of the list.

I love that this DVD presents dozens of playful animals in their natural habitats. My kids even danced with the original world music and giggled with the fun baby animal puppet shows. It's so cool how the animals are presented from each of the seven continents. Very educational.
