Ghirardelli Luxe Milk Chocolate Review

When I received an invitation from Mom Central to participate in the new Ghirardelli Luxe Milk Chocolate sampling, I jumped with joy. Seriously, who doesn't like to review chocolates? And Ghirardelli chocolates at that. Of course, yes! :D

Who doesn't know the world-famous Ghirardelli brand of fine chocolates? They've been around since I can remember.

I was actualy in a sense of nostalgia when I received the 5 Luxe Milk Ghirardelli chocolate samples. It made me remember back in 2003 when my husband and I visited the famous Ghirardelli Square on North Point Street in San Francisco. If you haven't been there, it is a very popular spot in the West Side of Fisherman's Wharf. The store was amazing! It had all kind of chocolates you can imagine. We were given a few sample squares to taste and bought some with a few souvenir items to take home. It was definitely one of those memorable moments visiting California.

Anyway, back to the Luxe Milk samples. Since I love almonds, I picked the Luxe Milk Almond to taste first. I shared it with my husband who really loved it too! The taste of almond in the rich, creamy dark chocolate was just heavenly! We tried the other flavors as well, but I'd say my top favorite is the Almond, while my husband's favorite is the Duet. We agreed the Hazelnut is second, then the Crisp and the Milk.

For you all chocolate lovers out there- you're in for a real luxe treat. :D

The New Ghirardelli LUXE MILK Chocolate collection comes in five, heavenly flavors: Almond, Hazelnut, Milk, Crisp, and Duet. They are now available at your local Wal-Mart, Walgreens, Borders, Linens N Things and will soon be in Target, Blockbuster, and Cost Plus stores.
