Nickelodeon's Sleepytime Lullabies CD and Sleepytime Stories DVD

*Sleepytime Lullabies CD

When I was pregnant with Gabriel (my first-born), I received a few classical CDs made for babies as baby shower gifts. I admit, I only used the Cds a couple times. Gabriel likes music but for some reason, the Cds we received did not really help him get sleep easier or comfort him when he was fussy. I found it was actually easier to put him to sleep without any sound of classical (or any kind of) music.

I recently received the Sleepytime Lullabies CD to test out. I wanted to try it not for Gabriel, but for my 15 month old Jaden who gets very fussy around early morning and afternoon and refuses to take his needed naps.

Sleepytime Lullabies CD was different from all the other lullabies music we tried. The soothing album features instrumental versions of songs made famous by The Beatles, The Mamas & the Papas and James Taylor. My kids and I love the collection of songs in this CD!

Jaden always falls asleep soundly every time we play the Sleepytime Lullabies CD- not right away, but gradually.

This bedtime-themed DVD episodes of the Blues Clues, Wonder Pets, Dora the Explorer, and Yo Gabba Gabba is a great addition to your child's bedtime story times. This DVD can be a good alternative to story books.

Gabriel is always crazy for the Blues Clues and Wonder Pets but ever since he saw the hilarious Yo Gabba Gabba episode- that has now become his most favorite. He says, "Gabba, 'abba!" every time it jumps to another episode. Meaning: he wants us to play the Yo Gabba Gabba episode again. So funny. And Jaden beams with delight watching any of the bedtime stories with his big brother. :)
